Location: Ouderkerk aan de Amstel is located a short distance from Amsterdam and Amstelveen, yet its rural location makes it a lovely quiet place to live. There are several recreational opportunities available such as the Ouderkerkerplas, Amstel and Rondehoep. The child-friendly quiet residential area with ample parking is well located within walking/cycling distance of public transport, shopping center Sluisplein, schools, nurseries and after-school care, but also near the historic beautiful and cozy village center with stores and restaurants. Ouderkerk aan de Amstel is an ideal base for numerous highways (A9, A10 and A2) and yet rural, surrounded by the rivers Amstel and Bullewijk.
